Sunrise on a Sea of Clouds

Kuna, Idaho this morning was pure magic. I sent the drone a few hundred feet up through the fog and popped out into a whole different world, sunrise over a sea of clouds. Made the call to land when I did too. The fog layer was cold enough to start icing the leading edges of my props, and sure enough, the drone came down with a little frost armor. Much longer in the cloud and I would’ve lost lift. 😬
